Terms Of Service
Welcome to via402. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using our services.
Account Terms
To use via402, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account, including tool/payment policies you enable.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
- One person or legal entity may maintain only one account
- You are responsible for activity performed via your via402 endpoint and policy settings
Payment Terms
via402 enables payment-gated tool access by routing MCP requests through its X402 compatibility layer. In beta, payments may be settled on supported test networks (currently Avalanche Fuji) and may use test tokens or limited-access balances.
If you enable auto-pay policies, you authorize via402 to initiate payments for approved tools within the limits you set. You are responsible for reviewing your policies and keeping sufficient balance if you choose to fund an account. Network fees and settlement mechanics may vary by chain and scheme.
Blockchain-style settlements may be final and irreversible. Review tool approvals and payment policies carefully before enabling auto-pay.
API Usage
Access to via402 endpoints and related APIs may be subject to rate limits and fair-use protections. You agree not to abuse, exploit, or use the service in ways that could harm our infrastructure, integrated MCP servers, or other users.
- Rate limits: Respect service limits and throttling
- Credentials: Keep tokens and endpoints confidential and rotate them if compromised
- Compliance: Use via402 in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Limitation of Liability
via402 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for losses resulting from third-party MCP servers, tool outputs, or external dependencies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, via402 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of via402 after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
